HARUKA KOJIN
Haruka Kojin is a contemporary artist from Japan, born in 1983. She studied at the Department of Information Design at Tama Art University, and co-founded the artist collective "paramodel" in 2001 with Yasuhiko Hayashi.
Kojin's works explore the intersection of technology, perception, and the natural world. She often employs a variety of media, including sculpture, photography, installation, and video, to create immersive and experiential works that play with the viewer's senses and perception.
One of Kojin's most notable works is "Contact," a large-scale installation that consists of a grid of 8,000 fluorescent light tubes that respond to the presence of viewers. As people move through the space, the lights change color and intensity, creating an interactive and dynamic environment.
